Cook/Kitchen Staff

• Run the kitchen independently when required
• Prepare and cook dishes from our regular pub menu
• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
• Complete food preparation and mise en place for service
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
• Manage stock and communicate when ingredients or supplies are running low
• Work efficiently during busy services
• Help with general duties as part of a small team when required
• Potential opportunities to work additional shifts with our food truck

• 22 years old or over
• Previous professional kitchen experience
• Confident working independently in a kitchen
• Able to manage a kitchen service without constant supervision
• Reliable, organised and able to take responsibility for your own work
• Comfortable working in a small team
• Flexible attitude and willingness to help where needed
• Good communication skills
• Available for the winter season from December 1st to March 31st
• Must already have the legal right to work in Japan, such as a Working Holiday Visa, spouse visa, permanent residency or Japanese nationality
• Driving licence valid in Japan

• Previous experience working in a UK-style gastro pub or British pub kitchen
• Experience cooking British food, particularly roasts, fish & chips and pub classics
• Experience running a small kitchen independently
• Previous experience working a winter/ski season
• Bar or general hospitality experience

• ¥1,500 per hour
• 5 shifts per week
• Staff accommodation available
• Shared staff car available for personal use, including skiing and shopping
• Subsidised ski pass
• Additional morning shifts available for those wanting extra work
• Potential additional work with our food truck
• Plenty of opportunity to ski and enjoy the Niseko winter
