The place

Three towns, four resorts, one mountain

Niseko as a working destination spans Kutchan, Niseko town and Rankoshi on the slopes of Mt Annupuri, facing Mt Yotei. Most winter jobs sit in Hirafu and along the road down to Kutchan town.

Kutchan
The area’s main town. Home to the Grand Hirafu and Hanazono ski areas, JR Kutchan station, supermarkets, the town office and most year-round services.
Niseko
The town on the Niseko Village and Annupuri side of the mountain, with its own JR station, onsen and a smaller resort community.
Rankoshi
The quieter southern edge of the area, known for rice, hot springs and the Shiribetsu river.
