About the role
Sea & Summit Collective runs destination marketing for Niseko and Hokkaido alongside our travel, guiding and commercial media business.
We are searching for an experienced marketing coordinator to own our marketing efforts across our channels, to plan and execute marketing communications for our website, EDMs, blogs and SNS accounts.
Responsibilities
- SNS management - content calendar, posting schedule, analytics, adjustments as needed to increase key metrics (views, engagement, shares, saves)
- Content creation - using your original media or our asset library (Reels, carousels, stories)
- Blog writing and SEO (wordpress knowledge is a plus)
- EDM creation and management (Mail Chimp)
Requirements
- Real experience managing and growing social accounts, ideally in travel, tourism, the ski industry or resort destinations
- Comfortable planning and managing a marketing and content schedule to post communications consistently, not just one-off content
- Content creation experience using either your own visuals or our media library
- Experience or willingness to use AI to increase process efficiency and campaign effectiveness. However, we always want to maintain a human touch on all campaigns and content
- Living in Niseko now on a Working Holiday Visa, or eligible for visa sponsorship
Nice to have
- Snow sports industry experience
- Expert-level skiing or snowboarding skills
- Photography and short form video production
- Passion for the outdoors, winter sports and travel
