About the role
Smooth is a beauty salon in Niseko Hirafu offering a wide range of treatments, including body treatments, facials, hair removal, eyebrows, head spa and eyelashes, to guests from Japan and overseas. The treatments you take on depend on your qualifications and experience. Experienced therapists are welcome, and so are people new to the work. You work 5 days a week, 7 to 8 hours a day, on shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide beauty treatments matched to your qualifications and experience
- Counsel guests and confirm what they want
- Give attentive, professional service
- Prepare and look after the treatment rooms and equipment
- Keep the salon clean and comfortable
- Look after guests from Japan and overseas
- Support day-to-day salon operations
Requirements
- Cheerful and approachable
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Interested in beauty and wellness
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Keen to learn new skills
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Comfortable looking after overseas guests
Nice to have
- English skills (not required)
