Housing Assistant (Kutchan) — Winter 2026/27

• Prepare rooms and houses for arrivals; support staff pick-ups, check-ins and check-outs
• First point of contact for resident questions and issues, escalating to the Housing Manager
• Work with House Captains so house rules are followed
• Manage and distribute supplies and linen
• Monthly house inspections and rubbish-separation checks
• Weekly heating and safety checks; keep vents, kerosene tanks and walkways clear of snow
• Light maintenance: bulbs, heater filters, minor door and bed repairs
• Distribute staff mail and parcels

• Valid Japanese working visa
• Valid driving licence (Japanese, international, or foreign with official Japanese translation)
• Business-level English
• Understanding of seasonal work and shared staff housing
• Able to do light physical and basic maintenance work

• Experience managing staff or employee housing
• Experience with snow clearing or heating checks
• Basic repair skills
• Conversational Japanese

• From ¥1,550/hour
• Ski pass subsidy or recreation allowance
• Social insurance if eligible
