About the role

Ski Japan Travel's Guest Services team in Niseko is hiring Guest Services Representatives for its front desk. You will be the presence at reception: greeting guests, organising check-ins and check-outs, answering phone, email and in-house enquiries, booking tours, taxis and activities, and being guests' local contact during their stay. It is full time, 5 days a week, averaging 40 hours (more from late December to mid February). The hourly rate is set at interview. Applications go through Ski Japan's own application page.

Responsibilities

  • Be a presence at reception and greet guests
  • Organise guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Answer phone, email and in-house guest enquiries
  • Book tours, taxis and activities
  • Give guests local information and be their reliable local contact
  • Help with other tasks when required

Requirements

  • Business-level English or higher
  • A Working Holiday Visa
  • Flexible with irregular hours

Nice to have

  • Conversational Japanese
  • An International Driving Permit or Japanese driving licence
  • Front desk, guest services, concierge or reservations experience
  • Face-to-face customer service, travel/tourism, cash handling or office experience
  • Ski or snowboard experience
