About the role

Ski Japan Travel's Guest Services team in Niseko is hiring Resort Representatives. You will meet guests in resort, drive them between the village and their accommodation on arrival, departure and ski shuttles (5–20 minute drives), handle check-ins and check-outs and give local information. It is full time, 5 days a week, averaging 40 hours (more from late December to mid February), including Christmas and New Year. The hourly rate is set at interview. Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet guests in resort
  • Drive guests safely between the village and accommodation on arrival, departure and intra-village ski shuttles
  • Guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Give guests local information and assistance
  • Promote tours and activities, help with rental set-up and occasionally host cultural tours

Requirements

  • Business-level English or higher
  • A driving licence issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco or Taiwan, or an International Driving Permit under the 1949 Geneva Convention
  • A Working Holiday Visa
  • Able to work over Christmas and New Year
  • Flexible with irregular hours

  • Face-to-face customer service, travel/tourism, outdoor guiding or resort/seasonal work experience
  • Ski or snowboard experience
